Thomas Waber and his Inside Out Music cohorts keep bringing the best of the prog-rock universe to our tables. This time around is the latest album by the Dutch symphony/progressive legends Kayak. Such a wonderfully crafted album that deserves the attention of anyone who enjoys old school and classic melodic rock. I would absolutely love to see these guys playing at RoSfest one day. ... The new Kayak album entitled "Seventeen" is out his coming Friday. And to put it plain and simple, it has floored us. What a beautiful, impeccable and uplifting collection of music with a pristine sound to boot. Highly recommended!

These guys still have it in them. Their energy was contagious and the performance impeccable... And I've got to say I'm very satisfied with how the pictures came out... Great memories! ... See MoreSee Less
Remembering the last concert from 2017, an electrifying performance by Kansas at the Charles F. Dodge City Center Pembroke Pines. A truly fantastic show that satisfied naysayers and rabid Kansas fans equally, they still kick major butt!

Farewell Ray Thomas, of the Moody Blues. While I have a wide range of favorite music, the Moodies are my favorite group and the original 7 albums, featuring Ray's distinctive voice and instrumental work have gotten more play in my studio over the years than any others. Valdez and Lines in the Sky signed for ROSfest 2018!
We are pleased to announce that Valdez and Lines in the Sky will perform at the 2018 edition of the Rites of Spring festival. And in the spirit of being progressive, we have booked both bands to perform at the opening slot on Sunday. In 2018, our faithful can look forward to two "sermons" on Sunday morning.
Valdez is a quartet based out of Philadelphia in the US, featuring the talents of singer and guitarist Simon Godfrey (Tinyfish, Shineback), bassist Tom Hyatt (Echolyn), keyboardist Joe Cardillo (Cold Blue Electric) and drummer Scott Miller (Stone Jack Baller). They released their debut album "This" just after ROSfest 2017, and have a new album in the pipeline.
Lines in the Sky are based out of Nashville, and was formed back in 2011, and consists of Jesse Brock (vocals, guitars), Bowman Brock (drums, percussion) and Ben McAnelly (bass). They have two albums to their name so far, "Hilasterion" (2014) and "Parallel Travel" (2016), and their third album "Beacon" is just about ready to be launched.
Both bands will have a 45 minutes long set, with a 10 minute long break in between bands so that the crew can prepare the stage and equipment for the second band. And as we are talking about Sunday morning, we rather suspect that a slight break in between bands might be a welcome feature for those in the crowd that have been a bit too festive the night before.
This is the first time we have given the “Church of Prog” slot to two bands to share. Both of them are stellar up-and-coming bands, hence this novel solution for booking both of them. We look forward to enjoying both of their performances. Of course, both bands will appear at the signing table after the concert.

Reflection is a strange thing. It can bring massive sadness, huge joy, and every emotion in between, coupled with philosophical speculation. I am a “progger” through and through, and I always have been. But let us be honest – personal stories, lyrical landscapes and clear commentaries on one...
